Probably not. Taxis are widely available. Most places you can ask them to call a taxi for you and they will do it for no charge! The venue, all our recommended hotels, and a variety of other things to do are all within the historic downtown area, or the Zocalo.

Always ask “Cuánto es (your destination)” Before getting into a taxi! Some taxis like to make up their own prices to get to places (always within a reasonable price).

While a lot of folks are spending extra days to look around, we ask that everyone is there by at least the evening of Friday, October 3. If that isn’t going to work for you, please let one us know!

We recommend a shuttle service! Once arriving at the airport, there will be a number of taxis waiting outside for a shuttle car service inside the airport ($15 USD). It will be on your right hand side as you are walking out of the customs section of the airport!
